| A good landscape plan is like a map. So... where
do you want to go? If you've thought about a feature for the outside of your house, I can create it as part of a unified design. I love the plant palette that's available to us here in Virginia, but I'm not just a garden designer. I love to design with stone- patios, walls, and walkways; wood- decks, porches, outbuildings, pergolas, arbors and trellises; and water- pools, ponds, and one of a kind water features. The Process To begin the process, I'll come out to your house to meet with you and learn more about what you're looking to accomplish. We'll walk the site and talk about what's working and what isn't. After this meeting I'll have a good sense of what I'll need to do, so I can present you with a design proposal. Depending on the scope of work, a design can run anywhere from $300 for a planting plan to $2,500 and up for a master plan complete with construction and permit drawings. If your project requires the stamp of a professional engineer, that is of course an additional charge. Once your plan is finished, I will call you to set up an appointment to review the plans.
